The earrings are die-cut from very thin slabs of patterned colored porcelain with either a glazed back or a second layer of patterned porcelain.   The ear wires are of 3 types; hypoallergenic black niobium, sterling silver or gold plate.  The ear wires are chosen to complement the colors in the earrings.   They are extremely lightweight.
